02 How we use them
Our approach
Our own pages set nothing until you choose. The website uses a small amount of browser storage to make the site itself work, for example remembering whether you picked the light or dark theme.
We use Google Analytics to understand which pages people find useful. It is not loaded at all unless you accept it on the banner that appears on your first visit. If you decline, or simply ignore the banner, no analytics cookies are set and no data is sent to Google. You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer.
Other cookies you may pick up come from third-party services we embed, such as the map and our booking platform. Those run on their own policies, listed below.
04 Third-party cookies
Services we embed
Some pages include content from third-party services. When that content loads, those services may set their own cookies on your device. We do not control these cookies; they are governed by the third party's own policy:
| Service | What it does on our site | More info |
|---|---|---|
| Squire | Powers the Book an appointment flow. | getsquire.com/privacy |
| Google Maps | Embedded map showing the shop location on the Contact section. | policies.google.com |
| Google Fonts | Serves the typefaces used across the site. | policies.google.com |
| Instagram (Meta) | Loaded only if you click through to our profile from a link. | privacycenter.instagram.com |
| WhatsApp (Meta) | Loaded only if you click a WhatsApp link to message us. | whatsapp.com/legal |
05 Your controls
Choosing what is stored
You can manage cookies in several ways:
- In your browser: every modern browser lets you view, block, or delete cookies. Look for "Privacy" or "Site settings" in the preferences. Blocking all cookies may stop parts of the site (most notably the booking widget) from working.
- Private / incognito mode: opens a session that discards cookies when you close the window.
- Opt-out tools: the third parties listed above publish their own opt-out instructions; the links in the table will take you there.
Do Not Track. Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. We honour the spirit of it: we do not track you for advertising whether the signal is on or off.
06 Changes to this policy
Updates
We may update this policy from time to time, particularly if we add or remove a service that uses cookies. The "last updated" date at the top of the page tells you when it was last reviewed.
